Evans Longshore: Standup Bass (not in photo) Perpetua jazz ensemble is the culmination of five veteran musical talents striving to create a sound that brings together several musical styles. Each musician has had his own unique background and musical interests, however their music has a definite jazz style and format with melodies that reflect the individuality of each member. Though from various parts of the United States, each member currently lives in the Pacific Northwest. Here, they are nurturing a musical form of expression that pleases the palate and excites the senses. The majority of the group's music repetoire is composed and arranged by its members. The group consists of Guy Stacey, acoustic and electric guitar, Steve Burkle, piano and keyboard bass, Lou Caputo, acoustic guitar, Randy Madnick, percussion and harmonica, Michael Deaton, drums, and Evans Longshore, standup bass.
